ABOUT MICHAEL CLEVELAND

 

 

Michael is a mixed media performance artist and educator.  He is an associate artist with Dead White Zombies, an experimental, immersive theatre company, as well as Therefore, a Dallas-based performance art outfit, He is also a founding member of Artstillery, an experimental theatre group and non-profit that seeks to empower marginalized communities through innovative works of performance.

Michael is also a lecturer at The University of Texas at Dallas and Collin College. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Samford University, an MFA in Arts & Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and will walk in December to receive his MA in Theatre from Texas Women's University.
